Premise and Rules of the Game, Bets, a Game Table

Blackjack is a card game in which you play against the dealer. In order to win you need to get more points than the dealer does without exceeding 21.

Double Exposure Blackjack is played with six 52-card decks, from twos to aces in each suit. Before starting a game the dealer shuffles all the cards forming one deck of 312 cards, and offers you to cut. Then the deck is placed into the dealing shoe and the dealer cuts the deck in the middle with a cut card. A cut card is a a divider that marks part of the deck which will not change. The cards that have just played go out of the game and will get back only when the cut card is taken out and a new deck is placed in the dealer’s shoe.

Unlike single-player Blackjack in the multi-player version of Double Exposure Blackjack at Russian Casino, every table can accommodate five players and the dealer simultaneously. But for all that the number of viewers is not limited.

Card Values

  • Twos to tens count at their face values.
  • Jacks, Queens, and Kings count 10.
  • Aces can be valued at either one or eleven. The player with an ace has a right to choose 11 or 1 depending on the total score. A combination with an ace as 11 is called 'soft'. For example, 'Soft 17' is an ace plus a six. A combination with an ace as 1 is called 'hard'. 'Hard 17' is an ace, a six and a ten.

How to Start and to View the Lobby

To start a game of Multi-Player Double Exposure Blackjack, go to the Blackjack Floor and choose the game 'Multi-Player Double Exposure Blackjack'. Thus, you are in the Multi-Player Blackjack Floor in the Double Exposure Blackjack section. The section is divided into rooms with 4 tables in each.

How to Start Playing/Join a Table

Every game table is featured by the following options: game access, move timer, gaming account, bet range.

By game access tables are differentiated into public and private. You can always join a public table whereas you are allowed to join a private table only if you have set that table.

The move timer option sets the time limits for placing and confirming a bet. At a public table the move timer can go by 15/30/60 seconds. In a game at a private table the move timer is not bounded.

At the same table bets from all the players can be accepted solely in the same currency: RUR, USD, EUR or in the game virtual money FUN/TUR.

Choose the Bronze, Silver or Golden range in order to set bet amounts and the table maximum.

If you are satisfied with the options of some active public table, join it by just clicking on it.

To start a new game with your own options, click on any vacant table and set the game options.

Game Viewing

Upon joining the table you can view the game progress at the table, look through the complete game history from the very beginning up to the current moment, chat with other players at this table, look through the chat history of this table.

Moreover to speed up the game you can change the image quality, visual effect number and the display of betting fields help.

If you forget the game rules, you can view them without quitting the game.

Play

To participate in a game in person, take one of the vacant spots by clicking on the Join button displayed on the available spot. You can take more than one spot by placing bets onto the vacant spaces.

Upon taking the spot, you will get the volume of chips corresponding to your Account balance displayed at the bottom of the window.

Your account amount decreases by bet amount while placing the bet, it goes up by the winning amount.

At the left hand top corner you will see the 'move timer' indicator. You can place bets until it shows a red zone. If you play at a private table, you can pay no attention to the indicator as the move timer is not bounded in this case.

After bets placement according to the rules and bet range set for that table, please confirm your intention to play with these very bets by clicking on the Deal button.

In Multi-Player Blackjack you cannot place zero bets. If you when taking a spot have not placed a bet at the beginning of the round then the spot you have occupied will become vacant and available for other players.

As soon as the move timer indicator shows a red zone, all your bets on the table you have failed to place when the indicator showed green will be automatically accepted and played on your behalf.

Distinctions from Basic Rules

Knowing both of the dealer's cards gives a big advantage to the player, that's why a number of modifiers is introduced into the game to balance it.

  • The player's Blackjack pays 1 to 1 (even through the dealer has Blackjack too).
  • If there is a Push, the dealer wins.
  • Insurance is not allowed. In fact, insurance is a bet that the dealer will have Blackjack. Wager has no sense when the dealer exposes both cards.
  • Surrender is not allowed.

The Dealer's Blackjack

When the dealer has Blackjack, the game finishes. If the player has Blackjacks, they pay 1 to 1, the player's other wagers lose.

If the dealer has no Blackjack, it is the player's turn to play.

"Double"

The player can double the wager in the box if the combination looks advantageous. The player’s account is charged with an additional amount and he will get one extra card. Then the game moves to the next box.

The player can double the bet only if he has two cards in his hand. The player cannot doouble the bet if he has a 'soft' pair, that is one of the cards is an Ace (DO9).

'Split'

The player can split a pair of the same-value cards (for example, two fives or a Jack with a Queen). The new hand gets an additional bet that equals the initial bet in this box. The split hands play and pay as regular boxes with certain restrictions.

  • You can split again up to four hands per box. (RS=3)
  • If the player splits Aces, he only gets one additional card for each hand. If the additional card is an ace, he can split again. (RSA, 1 card on RSA)
  • A two-card combination counting 21 is non-Blackjack on a split hand.

When split, either hand has one card. A second card is dealt automatically after splitting. If the hand is 21, the move goes to the other hand. If the hand counts under 21, then the player decides what to do next 'Stand', 'Deal', 'Double', 'Split')

'Stand'

If the player is satisfied with his current combination or he is afraid to go bust, he can stop and refrain from drawing more cards. The combination is set for the following comparison with the dealer’s and the game moves to the next hand.

'Deal'

If the player thinks that he needs more points, he can draw another card by pressing 'Deal'. The dealer will give him one more card to the current hand. The player can repeat this action as long as the hand is under 21 points, but you should always remember about going bust.

Bust

When the player draws another card and the hand counts more than 21, the hand loses and the wager goes to the casino. The game moves to the next hand.

When all the player’s boxes are drawn, it is the dealer’s turn to play.

The Dealer’s Rules

The dealer’s rules are simple and they do not depend on the player’s combinations. The dealer has to draw another card if he has less than 17 points or 'soft' 17. He has to stand as soon as he has 'hard' 17 or more than 17 points (H17). Exception is made when there are no more player’s bets on the table (they are either lost or paid). In this case, the cards that have just played go out of the game and the game is over.

Combination Comparison

After the dealer draws his cards, both the player’s and the dealer’s hands are compared.

  • All Blackjacks pay 1 to 1.
  • If the dealer busts, then all remaining bets win and pay 1 to 1.
  • If the player’s current hand counts more than the dealer’s, then the current bet pays 1 to 1.
  • If the player has fewer points than the dealer, the wager loses and goes to the casino.
  • If the dealer's hand and the player’s hand count the same, then the wager loses.

Once all bets are paid, the dealer collects the cards out of the game and the player can start another game.

Payoff Table

Combinations pay as follows:

  • Winning hand: 1 to 1
  • Blackjack: 1 to 1

Quitting and Unfinished Game Session

To quit a game correctly, make your spot at the table vacant by clicking on the pointer right under your spot. Then press the 'Quit' button at the right hand bottom window corner.

If you just press the Quit button without leaving your spot vacant, you will have an unfinished game session which you can renew at your next starting in the private mode or quit.

You will have an unfinished game for the connection failure. All placed bets will be saved in this unfinished game session, and you can renew it at your next starting in the private mode. If the connection have failed during card dealing, you will see the previous card dealing results when you opt to renew the previous session.
